Get to know Carol

Life seemed so much less complicated when I was younger. I taught school, married, had children, worked on staff at several churches and finished my graduate degree.  With each new role life became more complicated. I had learned a lot of very helpful information, but seeking out a Life Coach really helped me put the pieces together and when a crisis came, I was better equipped to handle them.

My coach helped me answer a question that I often asked myself, “Why do I do the things I do?”  We are all trying to make life work…trying to figure out how to get what we need? One problem is that we only have the tools we have learned from our family and community.  We need new ways of thinking about ourselves and our world…we need new life tools…we need to be challenged to think, speak, and do differently.  This is where a Coach comes in.

Experiencing the benefits of having a Life Coach convinced me that I wanted to become a Life Coach.  I wanted to help people find and fulfill their purpose…to know why on earth they were here on earth.

One of the things I observed over the years was that among other issues people wanted to address, they often expressed an emotional sadness, lack of energy, feeling a generalized anger, etc.  As we talked, it became clear that they were carrying a heavy load of incomplete grief experiences. I began to search for a grief program that would be effective in releasing people from the pain associated with grief.  There were several programs available but when I discovered the Grief Recovery Method, I realized that it was a perfect tool to add to my Coach training.  I became an Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist. I have used the Method personally to complete many of my grief experiences and now use it to help others do the same.

Now, after more than 15 years of working with clients from all areas of life, one of the things I enjoy most is the opportunity to provide a confidential, non-judgmental, accepting environment where my clients can discover new ideas and try them on for size…where they can explore new ways to make life work.  I would love to be your Life Coach and walk this path with you.  Sign up for your free 40-minute, no obligation, complimentary, strategy session

My life has been riddled with loss of family members beginning when I was age 5.  In more recent years a niece, two siblings and my three favorite cousins all died.  My older Grandparents and then parents were more expected losses.  I have talked, gone for counseling, read incessantly but did not get the same closure I finally received in Carol’s workshop.  There were losses I had not been able to admit, and they were the very core of my grief. —Bev Montgomery

I didn't want to come to the class, and I didn't want to read the book.  I didn't want to write the letter and I didn't want to read it out loud.  Now I am so glad I did.  I feel a huge weight lifted off me and I’m feeling free of the pain. —Jeannette Tobin
